The most suitable implant and prosthesis design is made with special programs on computerized tomographic x-rays or standard x-ray images obtained one minute before the operation, and thus the restoration results to be achieved can be evaluated in advance.

As of today, the most discussed subject in implantology is the application of the implants immediately on the day of tooth extraction or the immediate loading of the implant on the day it is placed and advanced applications for aesthetics.

In the presence of bone of appropriate quality, implants can be placed without making any incisions or stitches, fixed prostheses can be placed on the same day, and the waiting period of 2 to 6 months is eliminated.

In dental implantology, cases are evaluated differently in terms of surgery and prosthetics according to their degree of difficulty. Generally speaking, all cases are classified as simple, advanced and complex. Surgically, cases that do not have any bone defect and anatomical formations do not adversely affect the case, and especially those involving the posterior tooth group, can be considered simple.

From a prosthetic point of view, all implantology cases are determined by the degree of difficulty depending on the number and region of tooth deficiencies. For example, posterior single-tooth missing cases are evaluated as simple, anterior single-tooth missing cases are classified as advanced and complex. From this point of view, cases of total edentulism to be rehabilitated with fixed restorations on all arch implants are the most difficult cases of implantology.
